On Behalf of the OCAC, I'd like to thank Mark & Adam for giving us a lil' slice on the BCBimmers site!

Thank you...and let the cool cars roll!

Ditto. Thanks Mark and Adam, we'll try to behave ourselves.

With any luck, we'll bring a few more enthusiasts on board from another direction.

Does a 518 count as an OCAC car?

I'm afraid not. BMWs are simply too well represented in the car club world already, like here fore instance. A BMW would have to be extremely obscure, such as a 700 or Glas (heard of them?) to be an OCAC car.

There is always associate member status, provide you are willing to be seen in an OCAC car. We're always open to new suggestions too, in fact, I think that's my next thread topic...

Associate members should also be willing to be seen pushing said OCAC cars along the side of the road as well as being seen in them. :poke:

In fact large numbers of associate members will probably need to be recruited for this very purpose alone. :D

Preferably not. Remember, this isn't meant to be the Crappy Car Club. The idea is a club for cars that otherwise get overlooked locally. Car quality would ideally be comparable to any other club. Look at the full spectrum of BCBimmers' cars here - non-running projects, beaters, decent drivers, late models, and pampered collectors. We hope to get some pretty well sorted examples some day.

All in jest I assure you,the driving season in Kamloops is short thus forcing me to find sport where one can.

Unfortunately, having had to grow up in a household populated by Humbers,Vauxhalls,Austins,Simcas,Fiats,Renaults etc. and the attendant grief that goes along with being in close proximity to these vehicles my view of obscure cars has been colored forever it would seem.

So,although i don't understand it, I wish you the best in putting together the finest obscure car club out there.
