My mom had one of these for a good decade in the same colour - fantastic thick dark green plastic interior.

This one is cool, but it would be *way* cooler if raised two inches and had less flashy wheels (BBS are nice and all, but still...)

it just needs a duckbill and your set. maybe a euro front bumper..

either way those bbs rims are NOT flashy. they are pretty much just the e30 bbs 14" weaves

Well, we all have different views, and perhaps I'm getting old, but virtually every 80s European car owned by a 17-23 year old seems to get lowered and then have polished BBS rims slapped on. It's better on a BMW, but I'm not 17-23, so not a fan, and I'd prefer steelies or at least something else period but different...

Just sayin....

I agree about the colour and thr 4-door - just curious what exactly 'minimal rust' means in person...

Too bad, though for a car with this level of power, FWD is ok for me...

goes sideways instead of forward on acceleration.

Exactly. Not much torque steer out of 100 hp.

I think there are two distinct groups in these cars:

1. Those that were high performance in their day, and still can beat the average minivan today, or are at least still fun to throw around e.g. bigger displacement BMWs and Mercs, 80s 911s, heavily modded anything, or even older British roadsters.

2. The rest. These should be appreciated more for the fact that they just aren't around any more, have odd colours, have odd engineering solutions, or just look really cool. These might get old as your only car due to lack of dynamic capability, but are plenty fun for cruising around town when the weather is decent.

I'm neither.

I am all about how it drives, how fun it is. Closer to 1 than 2, but I just love driving a ca I become one with, not cars that I am always in an argument with. I love driving MG's, e21's, a fiat vert, etc.. It's not hp, it's what you can do with the car.
