OK, so I'm mostly putting this here because after seeing it on Jalopnik, it's become my 4-year old son's favourite vid, and I don't want to lose it. Warms my heart that he wants to watch this every day.

Somehow Hungarians are huge rallying fans. This vid has so many great parts, but my favourite has to be the section towards the end showing the footwork. Wow. Bonus points for Top Gun soundtrack.

Also, after watching many rally videos I've come to the conclusion that most rally fans have a shockingly poor grasp of physics and vehicle dynamics. Why do so many stand on the outside of curves?

Awesome vid - your son has good taste!

The Mrs. must love him watching this!

This is a pretty cool rally video. I was quite surprised how easy the E30 rolls over just turning a corner??? I think at around the 1:50 and 2:40 mark the cars just tip over.

Is it just me or does this look like a seriously good time? Maybe it's just the Elvis...

Back in 1992 Nick Mason and David Gilmour made a video of their entry into the Carrera Panamericana and set it to music. If you can find it, it's pretty cool. There are some snippets on Youtube:

That would be a fun race... but getting a race car to Mexico and racing for that far will probably require cubic money ;-)
