Need I say more? We may need to get BalkanBuggy to do one of these for us. When are we going to see your car out by the way?

Hi,
Sorry I didn't see this sooner. The Thursday I was planning on coming out, I totaled my daily driver Yugo against the backside of a civic. I have been working to get my back-up Yugo on the road. It should be out to a Thursday meet in early July. Unfortunately it won't be doing anything like this :p
Those Pirellis are expensive!

Crap! Sorry to hear the bad news!
Let me know in advance when you think you can make a meet, as I'll bring my Skoda.
Did you see that white Yugo in South Surrey for $300? If interested seriously, I could check it out for you as it looks local to me.

Hi,
I will be at the Thursday, July 15th meet with the Yugo.
I will also be at the Italian Cultural Center (3075 Slocan Street) for the All Italian Car Show on July 25th. Would be great to see some faces from this group show up to help support the Yugo. I may need an entourage to convince the bouncers of the Yugo's Italian roots.
I saw the white Yugo the day it was posted. I would buy the white Yugo sight unseen if I had somewhere to keep it. Unfortunately I live in a co-op and have no plans to move anywhere that would allow me to accumulate cars in the future. If I owned or rented a house with a driveway, yard, or (dare I say it?) garage, I would have bought my original Yugo, then the 4 that were on eBay as a lot, then this white one, and I would be in Heaven. If I had the space, I would have one as a daily driver, 4 as parts, and one as a stripped race car. ....wouldn't it be nice :)

You still planning to make it to the meet this week? I want to see this car and will demand a ride. I'll bring some stickers along.
I may also make it out briefly to the show on the 25th, as it's less than 5 minutes from my place. It would be a quick visit though since most of my car time that weekend will be spent at the BMW BBQ on Saturday.

I'm still trying. I have the car running pretty good, but AirCare is giving me problems. I'm going through again today (Monday) with a different carb on it and a new cat. If it doesn't pass this time, I'll probably put the 3 complimentary "Fix-ur-shit" months on it... I will be at the Italian show on the 25th for sure, though, even if I have to do it on a temp. permit.
